Gorrell Park – Massillon, Ohio
Build Ohio is moving forward with plans to redevelop the former Gorrell Elementary School property into Gorrell Park, a new 24-home single-family residential neighborhood. The proposed development will include new streets, sidewalks, utilities, stormwater improvements, and a variety of new home designs.
We are grateful for the significant community interest already expressed in Gorrell Park. Build Ohio is now beginning the due diligence, engineering, utility coordination, and municipal approval process. This phase is expected to take approximately six to eight months.
If all necessary reviews and approvals are received, we anticipate beginning infrastructure and site work immediately following completion of this process. Home designs, anticipated pricing, eligibility requirements, construction schedules, and information for prospective buyers will be announced as the project progresses.
Homes are not yet available for purchase or reservation. Prospective buyers may join the Gorrell Park interest list to receive updates as additional information becomes available. Joining the interest list does not guarantee eligibility, priority placement, or the opportunity to purchase a home.
